We are committed to the natural philosophy, to its agriculture, processes, winemaking techniques and wine quality.
Our selection process is complex due to the little transparency in processes, lack of controls and standards, and misleading and inaccurate wine labeling legislation. So we decided—based on our expertise and community conventions—to create a series of requirements to participate in the fair. We require all participating wines and producers to declare their practices, additives, oenological aids and technologies used in their process.
We welcome responsive producers who uphold sustainable and responsible winemaking in all areas; this means they do not produce a single label or a single range of wine naturally or only grow part of their vineyard organically.
Our role as promoters and information spreaders in the industry, makes us responsible for representing only producers who are truly passionate about our community's philosophy. Some imposter wines may be "low intervention", but we certainly don't consider them natural, and if we do not make that distinction, importers, restaurants, stores and consumers would unknowingly be distributing and consuming these wines as if they were truly natural. This is why we are rigid in our selection.
These are the conditions to participate as a producer in Volver Volver:
If you are a producer committed to the natural philosophy and you meet these requirements, we want to meet you! Email hola@volvervolver.mx and tell us about your wines.
Some producers are kept under constant evaluation if we believe that there is potential and they are on a true path of transformation towards the natural philosophy, even if they do not currently meet all the conditions.
